Slim and I stayed in the Yurt at Fernhill in late August this year. We found it cosy comfortable and there was plenty of space for two. The bed and furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. The log burner was easy to manage and kept us cosy. The outdoor kitchen and living space is easy and fun to use. The welcome at Fernhill is warm, everyone is friendly and helpful.

The grounds are breathtaking and provide a wonderful sense of freedom in nature. The facilities are brilliantly unusual and easy to use. We recommend this as the most marvelous holiday or short break and we are looking forward to coming back really soon.

Beautiful and tranquil surroundings, but just a few minutes drive from gorgeous beaches and delicious tea shops.

Accommodation is cosy and inviting with lots of thoughtful touches that make you feel thoroughly spoiled with delicious welcome hampers, fluffy towels and ready-lit wood burners. The lodge is a little tucked away with lovely views over the farm and features a large double bed with plush duvets and bedding with its own en-suite shower/toilet facilities as well as a double sofa bed to accommodate up to 4 guests. There is also a newly fitted kitchen with microwave/oven and fridge as well as a traditional wood-burner to keep you toasty.

Great attention to detail, with fresh flowers in the lodge and homemade jams and chutneys, all you have to focus on is relaxing.

No longer just a dream but a reality. Wow! Such a lot of hard work. You have created something really special. Well done and best wishes. xx

The log cabin is situated on an idyllic farm on the Isle of Wight, a short drive from the ferry, and an ideal location for exploring the rest of the island from. We had a wonderfully relaxing, restful weekend, and were thoroughly spoilt by Sarah and Sue, from the thoughtful, hamper in the accommodation, to the delicious homemade cheese scones and chutney on arrival, and well stocked log burner! We’ll most definitely be back!
